Transformation Challenge Fitness and Nutrition Tips: Setting Goals and Eating Often for Success!

I wanted to share something with you all. When the Health Shoppe and Fox Fitness 12 week transformation challenge begin, I started sending out fitness and nutrition tips to all the participants. We are almost to the end of the challenge with only 4 and 5 weeks to go!

Anyhow, I wanted to share with you all some of the great tips that these challengers received along the way so you too can be motivated to transform your body and be your best.

Setting Goals and Eating Often for Success!

The key to lasting change is to set a specific goal and immediately start taking action steps to reaching that goal. You all had some great goals at the start of the new year. Some of you are trying to lose weight, tone up, or be able to run a race. So keep reminding yourself about these goals EVERYDAY! Write them down and put them where you can see them so you are constantly reminded. Visualize what you will look like when you reach them.

Also, determine the action steps you will take to reach those goals, whether that be hitting the gym 3 times this week or cutting out sugar and sweets from your diet. It’s important that you think ahead and have a plan so that you can be successful.

So keep working at it because in my book you are all winners for taking the challenging and making the effort to change your life. Stay focused and you will achieve great things.

It’s important to incorporate small frequent meals into your healthy eating plan!

- Aim for 3 main meals that include lean protein, whole grain, and fruit/vegetable.

- Aim for 2-3 mini meals; shoot for 250 calories, including 5-10 grams of protein and fiber.
