What can I say? I LOVE chocolate and brownies fall on my list of favorites! Unfortunately, many versions of brownies are loaded with gluten. That’s why I love this gluten free brownie recipe. You can get your fix without the harmful side effects of gluten.
Now this recipes is a bit sugary, so eat in moderation, but it’s definitely better than eating a brownie from the local bakery full of sugar, gluten, and who knows what else.

- 1 cup unsweetened raw cocao powder
- 3/4 cup maple syrup
- ¼ cup extra virgin coconut oil
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients in a bowl until smooth. Line a small square baking pan with parchment paper. Pour mix into pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes. The middle will still be a bit soft and gooey. Let cool for approx 30 minutes and cut into 8 squares.
